VH1 is looking for the most outrageously talented and wildly entertaining dancers from across the country to participate in a new weekly, multi-platform dance competition show. “Dance Cam Slam” is an all new VH1 original TV series where individual dancers and groups compete live via their home web cam for a chance to win a weekly prize of $5,000.

One of the judges will be Brandon Henschel from Hollywood Connection. Each episode of “Dance Cam Slam,” will consist of three rounds. In the first two rounds contestants dance simultaneously to the same pop song on their home web cams. Our judges score the performances and declare a winner. The third and final round pits the winners from the night’s first two rounds against last week’s champion. Contestants will all appear in individual windows on a giant video screen in our Los Angeles studio. Judges score the dancers based on the overall entertainment value of their performance on a scale of one to ten and the best combined score moves on.

During the final round, viewers at home will vote live at DanceCam.VH1.com and by text messaging on VH1 Mobile to determine which of the three finalists will win the $5,000 cash prize and return next week to defend the crown. Viewers at home can also comment on the dancers live via Twitter and possibly even see their tweets appear in the show. Anyone with a web cam and a high speed internet connection can audition at DanceCam.VH1.com. The premiere episode of “Dance Cam Slam” airs on Tuesday, October 26 at 10:00 PM* on VH1 immediately following that week’s episode of “Dancing With The Stars.”

Hollywood Connection will choose the winner based on video submission and number of "likes". Top five will be chosen and entered into a drawing. The winner will be chosen at random from the top five and announced on our facebook page.

GLEE...my new favorite show!

Last year, when I watched the trailer for Glee I thought it was just another show for kids. I planned to watch it because our own Brooke Lipton was working 15 hours days on the set as an assistant choreographer and many of the Hollywood Connection dancers that Bill signed with his agency were also working on the show. But, I didn't plan on LIKING IT! Boy was a surprised. It just so happens that the creator and writer is RYAN MURPHY who created another one of my favorite shows, NIP TUCK. (This one is for adults kiddies!!!)

If you are an adult, and you were ever in choir, band or drama or just a geek in general like I was, YOU WILL LOVE THIS SHOW. The writing is superb, witty, sharp, hysterical and Jane Lynch (Coach Sue) is aboslutely hilarious. The dance numbers ROCK and the actors are well cast. Let's just hope this one draws a well deserved audience and doesn't end up being cancelled like the brilliant shows, Pushing Daises or Arrested Developement, all gone way too soon.
